Linda Herrera
Tell us a little bit about yourself. Hello, my name is Linda Herrera, I am a mother of three and a grandmother of seven grandsons! My favorite things to do is to be outdoors at the lake, hiking, and running.
What brought you to CrossFit? I was getting tired of the gym thing and was looking to do some strength training to improve my legs to run better.
How long have you been doing CrossFit? I’ve been doing CrossFit for over 3 years now. But this year I’ve dedicated more time and effort than before. Plus, I’ve notice my strength improvements in my arms and legs. Finally, I can see my arms shaping up!
How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness? This training was not easy for me but I showed up daily, always positive, I modified movements, and I finally saw improvements. I can say that this type of strengthen training has improved my overall running; for distance and hills.
Favorite CrossFit lift/movement? Back squats are my favorite! I have improved on my posture and have increase in weight.
Least favorite CrossFit lift/movement? Snatch is my least favorite but I seem to be getting the hang of this movement very well now!
Name one goal and/or personal record you would like to accomplish through CrossFit. I purchased a new jump rope and my goal is to successfully jump double-unders.
