Coach Vic found CrossFit in 2014 and immediately fell in love with its competitive nature, its intensity, and especially the community atmosphere. He was always athletic and gravitated toward team sports, playing baseball in high school and college. While earning a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Texas State University, Vic coached a number of youth sports from Select Baseball to Volleyball. After a year of CrossFitting, Vic became a coach at CrossFit Kyle and has developed a hands-on style of coaching with an emphasis on keeping people injury free, while also pushing them to surpass their personal goals.
These days, Vic’s fitness goals are more focused on staying strong, moving well and having fun in the gym. Vic is an advocate for health and fitness, he doesn’t see CrossFit has a hobby, but as a way of life for all walks of life.

Brandon is a native Texan growing up in and around Waco but has lived in various places around the country including Lake City, CO and Nashville, TN. In 2014 he returned to Texas, settling first in Austin and in Buda soon after. Brandon was an avid runner, competing in track, cross country, and 5k events throughout high school and college but knew very little about weightlifting or other forms of fitness. After a recommendation from his brother, a lifter and fitness enthusiast himself, Brandon dropped into CrossFit Hays and was immediately hooked by the constantly varied format and amazing community he found. He went on to obtain his Level 1 Trainer’s Certification in March of 2017 and his Level 2 in July of 2018. His favorite part about coaching is seeing athletes push past their own limitations to break new ground with a new movement, new PR, or personal goal they’re able to meet because of their dedication and persistence.
